Sir Demola Aladekomo is a Nigerian entrepreneur and founder of Chams Plc, Nigeria’s first indigenous computer maintenance company, which he established in 1985 and grew into a multi-billion Naira IT solutions provider. He played a key role in pioneering Nigeria’s Bank Verification Number (BVN) project, the National Identity Card Scheme, and innovative ChamsCity hubs certified by the Guinness World Records. A strong advocate for education, Aladekomo founded Volunteer Corps in 1992 to improve public education and the DATA Foundation to provide scholarships and mentorship for students. He has served as President of the Nigeria Computer Society and the Lagos Business School Alumni Association. Recognized for his contributions to technology, he holds fellowships with professional bodies like FNCS and FCPN.
